We celebrated International Day of the Girl with the kids of Otana School, Jos.
Otana School is a special needs institution caring for deaf, crippled, autistic and dyslexic children. Each child shone with intelligence and it was clear for all to see.
During this visit, we were able to discuss general well-being, maintaining cleanliness and speaking up against sexual abuse.
We didn’t go empty-handed, we went with gifts! Each girl child was gifted sanitary a pad.
Overall, it was a precious event, one I’ll cherish forever.

Dear family,
We know it’s been a while since you last heard from us.
We’ve been doing a lot of underground work and we cannot wait to sow you. 😊
We recently had a case that broke our hearts but at the same time, opened our hearts to give God praise.
We were able to financially support Mr Matthias Agu after being threatened ejection from the hospital for non payment of bills.
He had been bed ridden for so long and was wearing pampers, being fed through the nose but we give God all the praise, Mr Agu is getting better.
We’ll bring you more update on this soon.

To everyone telling our story and enabling us to do more by giving, we say thank you. ♥ ♥ ♥
For some families, a miracle is having food to eat for the day.
Your support is helping us do miracles.
When we went out for the outreach in the Bacha Community at Lifecamp, we were horrified to see people fighting and lying to get extra packs of food.
It was during the Ramadan period (May 2022) and we planned to feed 1000 people. We did.
When we had the Widows project in Easter, it broke our hearts to see people claiming to be widows so that they too could collect food and cash.
We planned to feed 500 widows but we gave food stuff and cash gifts to 800 people.
With your support, we can do more. Please donate to any of the bank accounts listed below.

The air was clean, the sun was warm but not too hot.
The food was on the fire, in three huge pots – half a bag of rice in sweet hot stew.
Everyone was laughing, everything was going according to plan.
It was going to be a good day. The time was 8:30 am.
Our founder, Joy wanted to stir the rice and she did.
She collected the large wooden pallet with one foot in front and one at the back for balance,
She dipped the pallet into the first pot.
Steam rose from the pot, smoke billowed from the firewood.
The day was starting to getting hot but we could smell the aroma of the food.
Yum! Joy laughed as she stirred the food.
Everyone was laughing, everything was going according to plan.
Soon, the food was cooked and everyone gathered around to put the food into packs.
Enter pink nylons, purple nylons, spoons, pink food packs, fried beef, noise, conversations.
This was the atmosphere as we worked to feed 1000 people on Tuesday, May 3.
It was the end of Ramadan, we were giving out food to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
We are God’s Help Mercy and Grace Foundation, we’re committed to feeding, educating communities and empowering people.
